A very generous exhibition in the magnificent spaces of Rudolfinum Gallery. And by “generous” I mean primarily in terms of space. Each of the large rooms was basically reserved for one gesture, but this gesture was given space to unfold to its fullest. Additional materials like smaller drawings or poems served like footnotes to these gestures.
Based on the information provided, I understood that the cooperation between the two artists first took the form of a book. And the exhibition was in a way a three-dimensional spacial manifestation of ideas that grew out of the book.
